On the morning of February 17, Yue Jianwu, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and president of Gansu Provincial Logistics Industry Association, was sitting at his desk perfecting his proposal in Lanzhou.

Immediately after the Spring Festival holiday, Yue Jianwu focused on the proposals to be submitted, listened to the voices of market players in logistics enterprises, talked with experts, and communicated with relevant government departments, striving to put forward high-quality proposals. "The proposals that have been soaked in sweat and measured on the soles of the feet are the ones that are most grounded and stand the test." Yue Jianwu said.

"I have prepared two proposals, both of which are closely related to Gansu seizing the greatest opportunity of the Belt and Road construction and doing a good job in the 'logistics article'." Yue Jianwu introduced that Lanzhou is an important node of the "Belt and Road" and the new land-sea corridor in the west. Doing a good job in "logistics article" is a key link to make good use of the biggest opportunities of the "Belt and Road".

Yue Jianwu put forward two proposals: taking advantage of Lanzhou's location, transportation and other advantages, the layout of imported grain storage and distribution center in Lanzhou; Relying on Gansu (Lanzhou) International Land Port, Lanzhou New Area railway port, Lanzhou New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone, etc., we will promote and build the northern window and northern hub of the new land-sea Corridor in the west of Lanzhou, expand the export channel of characteristic resources (products) in Gansu and even Ganqingning region, and make the construction of the "Belt and Road" and the new land-sea Corridor in the west more practical in Lanzhou. Inject new and greater momentum into the "strong provincial capital" of Gansu.

"Combined with my 30 years of experience in cold chain logistics, I will fulfill my duty, do my job well, and contribute to promoting high-quality economic and social development." Yue Jianwu said.
